The organic loofah travel sponge can be used for bath or in the kitchen.

Are you not tired of using plastic sponges that break after a lil while and are full of germs? The Polution a plastic sponge does is crazy, especially because you cannot recycle them at all. The Loofah sponge is the perfect alternative to sponges in the kitchen and sponges in the bathroom. They are made from nature and don’t harm nature.

The 100 % natural sponge is made of the loofah plant, which is a type of cucumber/ zucchini. It is cultivated and eaten as a vegetable, but must be harvested at a young stage of development to be edible. The vegetable is popular in India, China and Vietnam. When the fruit is fully ripened, it is very fibrous. The fully developed fruit is the source of the loofah scrubbing sponge which is used in bathrooms and kitchens.

As the loofah is bitter, this property makes it antibacterial and good for or skin ph level.

As a bath sponge it helps with blood circulation and removes dead cells gently. Just apply water and then some soap and the tough fibres turn soft immediately. You will discover that this is a more eco friendly bath experience. Not only because of the material but because you require less soap for your bath.  It’s perfect for on the road, the next holiday, camping trip and cold showers. With the loofah you feel a lot cleaner even with cold water. .

You can also use the sponge in the kitchen to clean surfaces and dishes! . It lasts for more than 4 months and 5x longer than a synthetic sponge. We recommend to wash it in the machine once in a while – up to 60° is fine, but put it in a net bag so it keeps the shape.

  • For body: Cleans off dead cells, great for blood circulation, helps agains cellulite.
  • For face : Helps in blood circulation and its a natural face peeling.
  • For kitchen : use as a dishwashing sponge, if you clean spinach or dough then rinse first with a brush, its a pain to get the sponge clean again. The sponge get soft when its wet, so for pots that are burnt, use a copper sponge.
  • For Surfaces : Simply use vinegar and water, or baking soda and water and scrub surfaces, the the kitchen table or the bathtub or the sink. Its a great scrub for all kinds of surfaces.

After using try to always keep it dry, a good tip is to hang it somewhere.
